Bonus Clearing Tips
Cash Games
Play 9-handed Tables
In Full Tilt Poker cash games Full Tilt Points are given out to every player dealt a hand at the table based on the amount of rake taken from a hand. The number of players at the table has no bearing on the number of points each player receives. For example, at a 9-handed table where $1 in rake was taken, every player at the table would receive 1 Full Tilt Point. This equals out to 9 points being awarded for the $1 in rake. If the same $1 was taken from a 6-handed table then every player would still be awarded 1 Full Tilt Point each. This amounts to 6 points being awarded for $1 in rake. As you can see at the 9-handed tables there are more points awarded per $1 of rake. This means that players earn more Full Tilt Points for the amount of rake they contribute at 9-handed tables, as opposed to tables with fewer participants.
Playing at a 9-handed table also means the blinds will hit you less which allows you to keep your cash longer and build up Full Tilt Point to release your bonus. The average pot will also likely be larger at a 9-handed table, than at a short-handed table because there are more players putting money into each pot.
Play Tight
The Full Tilt Points are awarded using the dealt method, which means you earn the same amount of points by folding as you do by contributing to the total rake. By playing tight you will still accumulate the same amount of Full Tilt Points while protecting yourself against going broke before you have released your entire bonus.

Tournaments
Full Tilt Poker awards 7 Full Tilt Points for every $1 that is paid in tournament fees. At a rate of $0.06 of your bonus cleared for every 1 Full Tilt Point this amounts $0.42 cleared for every $1 that you pay in fees. This is one of the better ratios you will find in online poker, so playing tournaments to clear your Full Tilt bonus are a strong option.
Play Super Turbo Sit and Go’s
Super turbo SNG’s are a lot of fun and they are very fast paced. If you are trying to clear your Full Tilt Poker bonus quickly then these tournaments may be right for you. You should just make sure that you play within your bankroll because the nature of super turbo SNG’s creates a very high variance which you need to be aware of.
Play Normal Sit and Go’s
Sit and go’s are better tournaments to play than multi-table tourneys because they are shorter and you are much less likely to go on a cold streak without cashing in several tournaments in a row. Multi-table tourneys aren’t the best option when looking to clear your Full Tilt Poker bonus because even the best tournament players in the world could hit a cold streak and go broke before they are able to clear very much of their bonus.
